Under his leadership, The Zachary Group has grown from a small one person office to becoming one of the largest minority-owned insurance brokers in the nation. With the vision of growing the organization into one of the largest insurance brokers in the nation by 20, Steven has instilled an unparalleled commitment to industry excellence amongst the entire organization.
Steven’s unique approach to risk, risk management strategies and attention to client needs has created a unique value proposition unlike any other in the industry. In many instances, Steven frequently participates at the client level to understand client needs, risk exposure and strategy formulation to ensure optimal outcomes..
With a passion for construction and affordable housing, he has become a highly sought after industry thought leader in the construction and development industry. He has participated in forming legislative protections for affordable housing owners and operators in the state of New York.
Steven has led the successful acquisition of several insurance brokerages by The Zachary Group and has spearheaded the seamless incorporation of their operations into The Zachary Group culture and ecosystem.
In addition to The Zachary Group, Steven sits on the board for Lighthouse Academies, a charter school management organization based in Tampa, FL.
